Grade 8 Science Fair: Twelve Projects Advance to Regionals
Every Grade 8 student entered, and twelve projects were selected for the regional fair, including a water-quality study of Fairview Creek that ran for eight months.
Junior Robotics Club Builds the Division’s First Student Weather Station
The Grade 6–8 club designed, printed, and installed a weather station on the roof. Its readings now feed the live conditions on every Fairview school website.
Kindergarten Garden Beds Produce Their First Harvest
Our youngest students planted in the spring and harvested in September. The produce went to the school kitchen, and every child took home a seed packet and a growth journal.
New Maker Lab Opens in the West Wing
Three 3D printers, a laser cutter, and a class set of microcontrollers. The lab is timetabled for every grade and open to families on Thursday evenings.
